Individual Counseling

Most people have times when they feel life is a bit too much for them. Perhaps that's how you're feeling right now. My job is to meet you where you are at this moment in your life, and to use my training and experience to help you identify ways to start feeling better.

Together, we'll navigate the bumpy road of your current life challenges so that, over time, you begin to find your way again and feel the road of life is more pleasant to travel. The client-therapist journey is rewarding and full of unexpected twists and turns. At its conclusion, the client feels "back on track" and much better than when we started our work together.

Phone and Video Conference Counseling for Couples & Individuals

If you're seeking counseling by phone or video conference, I'm currently working with clients through these two modes of communication, and have been receiving positive feedback about the benefits clients are deriving from these counseling sessions.

You can choose either phone or video conference counseling, depending on your preference. If you opt for video conferencing, I'll email you simple steps to log-in, and you can use your phone, laptop, or other device.

Counseling Regarding the Impact of the COVID-19 Crisis on Your Life 

Chances are that the coronavirus pandemic has created numerous ripple effects in your life. This may be affecting you economically, which, in turn, may be causing you tremendous stress. Perhaps you're feeling anxious about the possibility of you and your loved ones contracting COVID-19. You may also be experiencing fear and/or depression about current events in the world, and what could happen in the foreseeable future. 

If you live by yourself, you may be struggling with feelings of loneliness and isolation. Or, like some, you might be over-stretched because you need to oversee your child's/children's education at home. You may be getting irritable and angry more than usual given how difficult your life has been since the coronavirus took center stage.

Like quite a few people, you may be experiencing a lack of motivation regarding your work. You might also find that you're exercising less or not at all, eating more, and gaining weight, all of which make you feel worse during the COVID-19 crisis.

In contrast, you may have other glaring challenges that were present before the coronavirus pandemic changed our lives dramatically. For instance, you may be grieving the ending of a relationship, or be in the process of a painful divorce. Or, you may be in a rocky relationship that's going from bad to worse given all the new stressors in your life.

These are all examples of issues I've been assisting clients with via phone or video conference counseling. Through our work together, clients find solace and support, and we identify adjustments in their thinking, behavior, and lifestyle that make a world of difference in their lives despite the COVID-19 crisis.

As a result, clients report feeling calmer, stronger, more focused, more cheerful, better about themselves, and better able to handle the many adversities they're presently facing during the coronavirus pandemic.
